Classic Wrapped Our polycotton canvas is a Matte, bright white non glare media giving an excellent colour gamut for digital photo and fine art reproductions. Quality canvas stretched on a 24mm (1 inch) deep frame and pressure laminated for long life and resistance to fading. Ideal for colour and black-and-white reproductions.
These are quality canvases and are hand stretched by craftsmen. The frames are fitted with wedges to allow for adjustment over the life of the picture and are finished with taped backs and hangers so that they are ready to hang.
We use the top of the range large format Epson printer and genuine Epson pigment inks. Your image is printed at high resolution from RIP software using ICC profiles to ensure accurate colour. We use a heavy 390gsm canvas, which is pH Neutral. Prints are allowed to cure for 24 hours before being laminated using museum grade varnish in your choice of Matte, Satin or Gloss. This provides protection from scuffs and moisture. You are then able to wipe the canvas with a slightly damp cloth if required. The veneer also prevents the print from cracking. Your canvas will have an archival life of over 100 years!
Our stretcher bars are finger jointed from the best grade, knot free European Redwood Pine which means that the bars are clean, strong and straight with a significantly reduced chance of warping over time.
To finish off your print, wedges are fitted to keep the optimum tension which can be tapped in more if necessary. A metal hanger is fixed to the back (multiple for larger canvases) to save you time. Backing tape is applied for a quality finish.
